Additional Responsibilities - Essential Duties:
■ Process warranty and non-conformance claim – assess and approve or reject promptly.
■ Process claims on online OEM portals correctly.
■ Monitor web-based claim activity from OEM customers.
■ Evaluate claim conditions to standards and customer agreements.
■ Manage and closely track RGAs from beginning to completion.
■ Inspection of returned mechanical and electrical RGA items as they relate to the claim.
■ Manage post-inspection options.
■ Communicate claim payments to Finance for processing.
■ Track claim statistics and highlight issues to drive process changes.
■ Research and follow OEM customer claim processing requirements.
■ Other assigned responsibilities related to the position.
Requirements - Qualifications:
■ Similar Experience is an asset
■ Existing warranty administration training and experience.
■ Strong focus on meeting claim processing deadlines with the highest level of quality standards.
■ Proactive in response to problems.
■ Strong technical background is essential for mechanical and electrical fault analysis.
■ Ability and experience in working with measuring instruments
■ Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
■ Ability to easily adapt to new software as it relates to the company’s ERP system
■ The ability to create and maintain a team environment focused on continuous improvement
■ Willingness to be a long-term contributor and strong team member within a stable and growing organization
■ Possess strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
■ Must pay attention to details with a customer service attitude
■ Valid passport
■ Valid Ontario driver’s license
